Bespoke Media Walls in Rayleigh
Made-to-Measure TV Walls with Hidden Cabling, Smart Storage and Warm LED Lighting
Your living room should be the place where you properly switch off. A made-to-measure media wall helps you do exactly that, giving the television a proper home, hiding the cables and boxes that tend to pile up, and adding storage that is built around the way your family actually uses the room. We design and fit bespoke media walls for homes in Rayleigh and the surrounding area, and every one is made to measure rather than adapted from a standard size.
We are a family-run business with over 30 years of experience in fitted furniture, and the same team looks after your project from the first visit to the final clean-up. Plenty of our customers come back to us for fitted wardrobes or a home office once their living room is finished. Book a free design visit and we will talk you through the options, with no pressure and no obligation.
What Can Your Media Wall Include?
Every design starts from a blank sheet, so you decide what goes into it. Some people want a sleek, minimal backdrop for the television, while others want a full wall of shelving and storage. Either way, we shape the design around your room and how you use it.
Here are some of the features people ask for most often:
- A Flush TV Recess: Your television sits neatly within the wall for a clean, streamlined finish.
- Hidden Cabling: Wires for the TV, soundbar and set-top boxes are routed out of sight behind the units.
- An Electric Fireplace: A modern electric fire beneath the screen adds warmth and a real sense of occasion.
- Integrated LED Lighting: Soft, warm lighting around shelves and recesses that is perfect for film nights.
- Open Display Shelving: Space for books, photos and the pieces you love to show off.
- Cupboards and Drawers: A proper home for games consoles, remotes and everyday clutter.
Every media wall we make is backed by our 10-year guarantee, and our price match promise and interest-free payment plans help it suit your budget.

FAQs
How much does a media wall cost in Rayleigh?
Every media wall we build is bespoke, so the price depends on the size of the wall, the finishes you choose and extras such as an electric fireplace, LED lighting or additional storage. After your free design visit, we will give you a clear, detailed quote. Our price match promise and interest-free payment plans can also help it suit your budget.
How long does it take to fit a media wall?
A straightforward media wall can usually be fitted in one to three days. Designs with integrated lighting, a fireplace and plenty of shelving take a little longer and can take up to a week. We will always give you a clear timeline before any work begins.
Can you hide all the cables?
Yes. Hiding cables is one of the main reasons people choose a media wall. We plan cable routes for your TV, soundbar, games consoles and set-top boxes at the design stage, then run them out of sight behind the units so the finished wall looks clean and clutter-free.
Can my media wall include an electric fireplace?
It certainly can. An electric fire set beneath the television is one of our most popular features and creates a lovely focal point. Take a look at our media wall case study in Maldon to see how it can work.
Will a media wall work in a smaller living room?
Yes. Because everything is made to measure, we can design a slimmer wall that still gives you the storage you need without making the room feel crowded. We are used to making the most of alcoves, chimney breasts and awkward corners.
Is my media wall guaranteed?
Yes. All of our fitted furniture, including media walls, comes with a 10-year warranty covering our workmanship, so you can enjoy your new living room with complete peace of mind.
Do you fit media walls in areas near Rayleigh?
Yes. We design and install media walls right across Essex, so if you live in a nearby town or village, we will be happy to help. Just get in touch and let us know where you are.
